Mungrup Stud is welcoming a new crop of foals into the world as they look to unearth the next racing star at one of WA’s biggest thoroughbred nurseries.
About 90 foals are expected to be delivered on the grounds of the Narrikup stud, near Albany, from this month until December.
Seven foals have already been born.
They include an Oratorio-Majantic filly and an I’m All The Talk-Vampi Lass filly.
Majantic is a full sister to multiple stakes winner Global Flirt and the sire Oratorio is one of the best producers of two-year-olds in WA.
Oratorio stands at Mungrup Stud alongside Playing God, I’m All The Talk and new sire A Lot.
Playing God sired this year’s WA Sires’ Produce winner Lordhelpmerun for Albany trainer Steve Wolfe.
A Lot is on the way to Mungrup Stud from Florida and comes with an excellent turf record in the US.
